Sadguru is The Only Protection
It is a common belief in spirituality that the karma that we do manifests in forms of sufferings or happiness. The good karma brings blessings and happiness. The bad karma manifests in form of sufferings. The cause and effect of this universal law is that none can escape from this law. Even saints, ascendant masters and incarnations had to suffer because of past life issues.
The Need of Sadguru Shri Sai Nath in Present Times
“Sai Raham Nazar Karna, Bacchon Ka Palan Karna” This verse is a request to Sadguru Shri Sai Nath of Shirdi who has been regarded as an ascendant master of this era. It is a request to protect us and nourish us with right spiritual knowledge. It is also a request to have mercy on us for our ignorance. The question arises why this protection is more important nowadays. To appreciate this we need to understand the concluding speech of Swami Vivekanand in the Parliament of religion.
Ordeal of Guru-Bhakti
Once, Cholera was raging virulently in Shirdi. The residents were much frightened and they stopped all communication with the outside people. The panchas of the village assembled together and decided upon two ordinances as a remedy to check and put down the Epidemic. They were (1) No fuel-cart should be allowed to come in the village, and (2) No goat should be killed there. If anybody disobeyed these ordinances, they were to be fined by the village-authorities and panchas. Baba knew that all this was mere superstition, and therefore, He cared a damn for the cholera-ordinances. While the ordinances were in force, a fuel-cart came there, and wanted to enter the village.
Faith and Patience - Essential In Sai Devotion
The core values of Sai spirituality are Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience). If one is there; other has to be present. We may not gets fruits immediately, today or tomorrow while walking on the path of devotion for which we should not get disappointed. We must take care that our love and trust should not decrease by not getting the desired results early. Our devotion should be strong enough to wait for the right time to get the results. Shraddha is the foundation of the path of devotion and Saburi is the time taken to walk on that path.
